I’m just a child of immigrants who doesn’t understand American clichés I have to admit I’m not very familiar with many American clichés, and the one that titles this post was, up until recently, one of them. I never understood who would throw a baby out alongside of the bathwater, but I digress. The phrase basically means don’t get rid of the good stuff when you get rid of the bad stuff. And I think it’s a lesson for Deconstructionist
