I appreciate this, and I appreciate that those of us who follow Jesus can't simply let our trans sibling endure their suffering as we watch from the sidelines.
Christ-followers should be at the forefront of those who protect the vulnerable. That we are often arrayed along with those who seek to harm our siblings is at best shameful, but more likely we become participants in their destruction.
May we be awakened to follow Jesus on the roads he traveled to seek and save the last, the lost, and the lonely.
